
Eminem was officially named the best selling artist of the 2000’s in USA – rapper has sold more than 32.3 million copies of his albums in 21st century. Eminem’s result greatly exceeds achievements by other artists, says a report from Nielsen SoundScan, an information organization that tracks sales of music and music video products in North America.
However, the top selling album of 21st century belongs to The Beatles – their 2000’s best hits compilation, named 1, was sold 11.499.000 copies. It is followed by N Sync’s No Strings Attached and Norah Jones’ Come Away With Me.
The top-selling single is Low by rappers Flo Rida and T-Pain (5.214.000 copies). Next are Lady Gaga and Colby O'Donis with Just Dance and Jason Mraz with I'm Yours.
